L&rsquo;\u00e9tape est courte mais au combien difficile. Au menu 2 passages \u00e0 plus de 2000 : le terrible et majestueux Galibier via le T\u00e9l\u00e9graphe puis le col de l&rsquo;Izoard. D\u00e8s 8h, le peloton est sur le pont, les v\u00e9los pos\u00e9s sur les racks. Papa range les bagages et file acheter du ravitaillement. La route est belle mais avec une pente moyenne \u00e0 7% il faut g\u00e9rer les 12 km d\u2019ascension pour atteindre les 1566 m d&rsquo;altitude. Steeve tel un m\u00e9tronome attaque plein fer. Fabrice apr\u00e8s un temps d&rsquo;h\u00e9sitation se lance \u00e0 sa poursuite. Bref on change rien, tout continu ! Bien d\u00e9cid\u00e9s \u00e0 gravir cette montagne, nous nous \u00e9lan\u00e7ons dans la descente qui m\u00e8ne \u00e0 la station de ski de Valloire. Notre groupe s&rsquo;\u00e9parpille dans la longue ligne droite qui marque le d\u00e9part des 18 km d&rsquo;ascension. Nous devenons petit face \u00e0 cette immensit\u00e9. Un seul rep\u00e8re raisonne dans nos t\u00eate : le virage de Plan Lacha \u00e0 partir duquel la pente ne descend gu\u00e8re sous les 8 % durant 8 km. Ce Galibier ne se laisse pas cueillir comme \u00e7a et jusqu&rsquo;au bout il faut se battre. En haut les mobylettes sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 en train de se r\u00e9chauffer dans les stands. Tout le monde arrive au compte goutte. Continuer dans ces conditions ne serait pas prudent. Nous retrouvons Sacoche au pied de la descente. Il reste 15 km en faux plat descendant avec un bon vent de face. Steeve est aux manettes.
